Frequently Asked Questions

DIFFERENCE COACHING AND MENTORING

  • WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COACHING AND MENTORING?

Coaching expands the behavioral repertoire of the coachee; while in mentoring, proven knowledge is made available to the mentee. In both cases, however, a willingness to self-reflect is necessary.

COACHING / MENTORING PROCEDURE

  • HOW MANY COACHING / MENTORING HOURS DO I NEED?

This depends on each coachee / mentee themselves and their case / task. Time and work to accept new knowledge and also to try it out in practice must be planned. It is known from learning research that we can remember 30 percent of what we hear and see and already 80 percent of what we say or do ourselves. However, this value only increases to 100 percent if we reflect on what we have learned in a structured manner with other people.
  • WHY CAN’T I BOOK A SINGLE LESSON?

I understand coaching as a process. It takes more than an hour to initiate effective and, above all, sustainable changes. Coaching is not a ‘magic pill’ …
  • HOW LONG DOES A COACHING SESSION TAKE?

Normally 60 minutes, otherwise it will be debited from your purchased service package account.
  • WHERE DO THE COACHINGS TAKE PLACE?

Individual coaching usually takes place in external rooms, as walk & talk coaching, via video call or telephone conversation.

PRICES, PAYMENT, TAXES, GIFT VOUCHERS

  • WHY ARE ONLINE COACHINGS NOT CHEAPER THAN PRESENCE EVENTS?

There is no differentiation here because the effort for me as a coach is identical. This also applies to the conceptual preparation and follow-up expenses.
  • HOW DOES THE PAYMENT WORK?

The coach sends the coachee / mentee either partial invoices after individual or multiple appointments. Alternatively, he will issue an invoice after the entire coaching / mentoring process has ended. The coachee / mentee pays the invoice (s) within 14 days of the invoice date.
  • WHAT IF I BUY A PACKAGE AND THEN I NOTICE THAT COACHING / MENTORING IS NOTHING FOR ME?

(MONEY BACK GUARANTEE FOR HOURS NOT TAKEN)
If you send me a short written statement (7 days at the earliest, 10 days at the latest after a session) explaining why my performance was not worth your money, you will get your money back for this session – no ifs or buts.
  • Can coaching be tax deductible?

Generally yes. If the client pays, this can possibly be deducted as a further training measure. In private, when the coaching topics are relevant to the profession. It is good if the coach has your topics as an official focus (e.g. values), with purely private topics it is rather difficult to be tax deductible. Please ask a tax advisor!
  • CAN I ALSO GIVE COACHING A GIFT?

Sure, of course. Simply write in the contact form that you would like to give away the coaching / mentoring. You will then receive the corresponding coaching voucher by email after payment. You can then print it out and give it away!
